NorthWestern Accelerates Downtown Maintenance

NorthWestern Energy is planning to accelerate its natural gas System Maintenance Program in four communities this summer, including Bozeman, after it decided to defer another gas project elsewhere in the state.  Beginning the week of August 10 crews will be working in the downtown area removing inside gas meters and installing new outside meter sets, removing inactive “stub” lines from the main and installing new fittings and valves on the main line.  The new valves and fittings will enable the company to respond to local customer requests to create a smaller zone around the downtown area.  Stop by the downtown office at 308 E.
